Do I need to be a good golfer to get fit?

Not at all. Fitting benefits golfers at every skill level — in fact, higher-handicap golfers often see the biggest gains, since off-the-rack clubs rarely account for slower swing speeds, steeper attack angles, or inconsistent strike location. A proper fitting adapts the equipment to your swing, not the other way around.

How long does a fitting session take?

Single-club fittings (driver, fairway wood, hybrid, wedge, or putter) run 45–60 minutes. Iron set fittings run 60–90 minutes. A full bag assessment covering every club typically takes 2–3 hours.

Do I have to buy clubs after my fitting?

No. There's never any obligation to purchase. You'll receive a full written report with our recommendations and can decide later. If you do order, your fitting fee is credited in full toward the purchase.

What should I bring to my session?

Bring your current clubs relevant to the fitting, the shoes you normally wear to play, and a rough sense of your typical scores or handicap if you know it. If you have specific misses or frustrations, jot them down beforehand so we can address them directly.

How is a launch monitor fitting different from just trying demo clubs?

Swinging a demo club and guessing whether it "feels" longer is unreliable — perception of distance and feel is notoriously inaccurate. A launch monitor captures ball speed, launch angle, spin rate, and dispersion on every single swing, so comparisons between clubs are based on objective data rather than feel alone.

How long does it take to receive my new clubs after ordering?

Most builds are completed in-house within one week of ordering, since we stock components and build on-site rather than sending orders to an outside factory queue. Complex custom builds or backordered components may take slightly longer, and we'll always give you a specific timeline before you order.

Do you fit left-handed golfers?

Yes. Our demo fleet includes left-handed heads across every major category, and our launch monitor setup works identically for right- and left-handed golfers.

Can I get fit if I already love my current clubs?

Absolutely — many clients come in simply to verify their current specs are correct, or to check lie angle and shaft fit on clubs they already own. Not every fitting ends in a purchase, and we're happy to confirm what's already working.

Do you offer follow-up adjustments after a build?

Yes. Any loft, lie, or length adjustment needed within 30 days of a build is included at no additional charge, as your swing settles into the new equipment.

What areas do you serve?

Our studio is located in Kansas City, Missouri, and we regularly serve golfers throughout the greater Kansas City metro area, including Overland Park, Lee's Summit, and Independence.
